Unfortunately, we no longer play on Sunday afternoons (we’d like to again in the future but we need more players!!) however we are still playing on midweek evenings throughout the Summer, focusing on enjoyment of the game and fair play while still aiming to achieve a reasonable standard of cricket.

All Good Things Must Eventually Come To An End...

... and it is with heavy heart and much sadness that as of 11th May 2017 the Canal Taverners Cricket Club has closed it's doors to cricket on the Victory Field in Bradford On Avon.  The club has existed for some 30+ years.

In that time numerous people have played for the club, and we thank everyone who has contributed in one way or another to it.

There has been some great cricket played, life-long friends made, lots of laughs, some tears too, plenty of beer consumed, tours undertaken, thousands of runs scored, thousands of wickets taken and hundreds of catches dropped!!

We deeply apologise to all those clubs with whom we had a planned fixture this season, hopefully you'll be able to find alternatives.

This website will continue to exist for just a couple of months. So for all those people who want to download and keep their history of statistics, please do so before they disappear into Wisdens archives !!

We sincerely hope that for those of you who continue to play cricket, in whatever form and wherever you are, that you'll continue to enjoy it and work hard to ensure that your club survives.
